This is a limited editioned contemporary fine art photography piece by Canadian artist, Tash Damjanovic. Made through an emulsion transfer process, each image is lifted from its original frame and re-situated—placed, softened, and subtly distorted—into a new context. The textures, tears, and irregularities are not defects, but traces of transformation. Some pieces are further painted or otherwise altered.
