Jeff Alarie's sculptures are a skillful juxtaposition between softness and strength, where lightness and delicacy contrast with roughness and robustness. These modular works, gathered under the title Les Bois Dormants, offer an evolving experience to the viewer. Each sculptural flower acts as part of a larger grouping; when combined, the works form an evocative and immersive imaginary forest, seemingly drawn from a dreamlike universe; reminiscent of a landscape inspired by Sleeping Beauty.
