“My work is an interpretation of life from a happy point of view. My style plays with patterns and repetition of forms. My main sources of inspiration are crowds of people, umbrellas, trees, polka dots, mass cultural objects, candy, gardens and cityscapes. Through these differing subjects, I am continually exploring unique compositions while creating bright, luminous paintings built up through many layers of acrylic paint.”
The most recent collection of work focuses on the disappearing landscape in our city. The nostalgia of the neighbourhood corner stores, classic old residential architecture and funky old restaurants that have been around for years.
