Rising from the Canvas Collection
During one year of Covid-19 self-isolation, career artists Annette Blady and Al Van Mil created something completely new to express the impact of 2020 on their lives. Inventing a technique they call MOULAGE, they produced a collection of unexpected and evocative 3D paintings that literally rise from the canvas. Their inspiration was the momentum that results when individuals joined together by adversity make positive changes.
