Glass is one of the few materials that plays with light in such a dramatic way. When colour is introduced—through minerals, heat, and clever chemistry—it transforms from something transparent to something transcendent.
The magic lies not just in the hues, but in how they interact with light. Translucent pinks and yellows, and iridescent blues shift throughout the day, depending on the angle and intensity of sunlight. Glass doesn’t just sit still—it lives, moves, and breathes with light.
Alyssa Getz and Tommy Cudmore met in the Glass Blowing program at Sheridan College and have been working in partnership ever since. Dedication, talent and passion have fueled their curiosity and creativity - moving them forward in their collective business, and pushing boundaries in their art. Their "multiverse" glass pieces have become a signature style. No two pieces are exactly the same.
One reason the Multiverse Series is so successful is the starting materials. They go to extreme lengths to obtain rare and special glasses and use them in interesting ways to create a unique look. Intriguing glasses such as Aventurine and Opaline can add incredible pattern and layering.
"Creating a piece fills us with a sense of joy, accomplishment, and pride. It's those feelings that we work toward each and every day. We get excited about the challenges of learning new techniques and pushing our boundaries. We are full of gratitude for your support and feel blessed that our patrons allow us to continue on this journey." - Alyssa Getz & Tommy Cudmore
In the world of keepsakes and art, few objects capture emotion quite like a glass heart. They shimmer with color, catch the light just right, and feel both delicate and strong—much like the emotions they represent.
Glass hearts aren’t just visual—they’re physical. Cool to the touch, with smooth curves and perfect weight, they invite people to hold them.
Unlike flowers or cards, a glass heart doesn’t wither or yellow with time. It becomes part of someone’s space—a lasting reminder of a feeling, a gesture, a moment.
