Born in Kincardine, Tiffany was exposed to precious little art until her late adolescence. Even early on, she had always felt an artistic career would be forthcoming but was unclear as to how it would unfold. An opportunity arose in 2000 with an apprenticeship in functional pottery.
The potential of clay demanded further exploration and she quickly responded to the challenges of sculpture. She found her pieces coalescing seamlessly with the wild spontaneity of the raku process and it became impossible to return to the quiet routine of stoneware. Today, working primarily with clay, she makes her living as an artist through her studio, art shows and galleries.
Tiffany currently lives and works in Guelph, Ontario with fellow raku artist Hock Wee.
