Seray Vural majored in ceramics and traditional Turkish Arts at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. Following her education, she worked as an artist at her own studios in Istanbul, Gothenburg and then in Oslo. She has had multiple exhibitions in Europe and her works are included in private collections.
Her practice focuses on forms, layers and textures that represent her feelings. Using materials like paper or clay, she feels herself a part of nature and also at peace. She uses these raw materials and her hands to create these vessels which remind her of the beauty of our planet.
Seray now lives and works in Toronto.
