Sara Levine Petroff

Sara's most recent work is a collection of mixed media paper sculptures. Richly layered with exquisite hand-batiked papers, stained, iridized, oxidized, burnt, and embellished with beads, torn texts, prayers, music and broken bits of a past otherwise discarded. Sara's evocative works are both concealing and revealing, reminiscent yet fresh, transcending culture, religion, time, and place.
