Richard Boucher spent his early years living on a farm in eastern Ontario where he developed the discipline he applies to his creations to this day. It was during these early years that Richard developed a passion for artisanal products.
He opened his first woodworking shop in 1999 and in 2003, taught himself how to make pens. In 2005, he moved to Montréal where he established his workshop. Richard graduated from Montréal’s École de Joaillerie (school of jewellery) in 2012 and creates a growing range of ball point and fountain pens as well as other writing instruments and limited edition jewellery.
Richard uses wood essences from countries around the world, including Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Africa.
