Quebec artist Pauline Pelletier has been making porcelain ceramics for over twenty five years. She has grasped the art of marrying simple forms with rich colours to produce objects of discreet but impish charm. She incorporates metal into clay to obtain variations in colour. The use of copper, green caldonite, bronze, gold, silver, black porcelain and smoke blackened clay result in a rich metallic iridescence.
