Mark Gleberzon is a Toronto-based, mixed media artist. An OCADU Honours graduate, Mark happily switches between his painting, photography and collage works, constantly exploring new techniques. He has a long history of exhibiting and offering his work throughout North America including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Boulder CO, Des Moines IA, Chicago IL, Boston MA, Philadelphia PA, Westport CT, and New York City NY. Galleries throughout North America have also shown his work as well as in Japan and France. Mark's art can be found on every continent, including Antarctica!
Colour itself is Gleberzon’s inspiration. But so too are the urban environment we share in a city like Toronto. The flashes of colours seen in an oil-slick found on the tarred roads, the sun-dappled reflections from the glass-veiled buildings surrounding us and the ever-going blur of people, going from one place to another, also converge into his art-inspirations. Mark would be the first person to tell you "I have no idea how something will work out until I try it!"
