Emily produces expressive pewter home accessories that convey her love for her work. Her designs and shapes are inspired by what surrounds her: a plant, a toy, even her tools. It is easy to see the joy she experiences while creating these pieces in her playful and whimsical images. Each design starts off as a drawing which is worked without editing until Emily achieves a form she wants to bring to life.
Her mezuzot are a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Jewish scroll casing. Each design incorporates the letter Shin which is part of God’s name. Made of cast lead-free pewter, her mezuzot are suitable for outdoor use in all climates. These whimsical mezuzot both continue and reinterpret the tradition, bringing into your home a blessing that protected our ancestors, and one that we can pass on to our children.
