The commandment of Hiddur Mitzvah, which urges one to adorn and beautify the implements of holiness, is the fundamental justification within Judaism for the embellishment, through the ages, of documents and ritual artifacts of Jewish life.

With every purchase you make of JUDAICA, 10% will be donated back to either your participating Jewish Day School (see list below for participating Schools) or to Kolel: The Adult Centre for Liberal Jewish Learning. Simply mention to whom the donation should go.

You will be performing a double mitzvah: supporting artists creating hiddur mitzvah, as well as supporting your Jewish community. We encourage you to consider these works for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, birthdays, as well as any special occasion that deserves recognition.

This is only a small sampling: more works from each artist and more are available at the Gallery, call or email to inquire. Each piece is unique, handcrafted, signed and accompanied with a biography of the artist. Gift-wrapping and packaging for worldwide delivery is complimentary. Delivery is also available. Some items may require 4-6 weeks for delivery. Since each work is distinctive, there may be some slight variations from the photographs.
