Catherine’s collection of hand built porcelain is meant to celebrate and beautify the daily rituals of life. Having previously received a Masters in Anthropology from the University of Montreal, it is not surprising that Catherine’s works reflect a certain insight into the meaning and purpose of everyday objects.

Organic in shape, Catherine’s bowls fit easily into the hand and bring a sense of comfort and warmth. The delightful hand painted images that decorate each piece represent idyllic lakeside scenes, yet are given an urban twist through abstraction and the use of colour.
