“Landscape photography is not about the art of seeing but more about the art of experiencing.  I take the time to study and identify the relationships of all key elements.  By the time I arrive at a personal perspective I have become a part of the picture”

As an avid traveler and a professional art photographer for close to four decades Janusz Wrobel has learned to allow the rustic and sometimes unpredictable elements of nature to inspire his portraiture of Canadian land.  With every snap of his lens, he tells a new story, each time reminding us of the complex and fragile state of our environment.  A history in printmaking has had great influence on the quality of his work.  By selecting fine art materials he is able to increase the longevity of each of his photographs, which will be able to stand the test of time, unlike our land that is constantly being pushed to extremes.  Janusz has received international praise for his works through awards and publications and currently shares a studio with his wife and professional textile artist Lorraine Roy in Dundas, Ontario.
