Robert Hewitt’s boxes and pens are known for their clean and streamlined designs. After many years of hand crafting furniture, he has distinguished himself as an expert wood worker. He constructs his boxes using local and exotic fine woods, and many design techniques, which add to the overall elegance of each piece.
His use of wood inlay, beveled edges, mitered corners and hinged or sliding pieces contribute to the classic appeal of his work.
